HIIT
Hello everyone,
after the last posts on the different metabolisms, for all sports lovers, this
new method of training, related to aerobic and anaerobic training, called HIIT.
High intensity interval training (HIIT) is a specific training method for short
sessions at high intensity (high% HR max values are reached). It consists of
alternating short and intense periods with others of recovery or medium-low
intensity. The total duration of the session does not usually exceed 20

After watching
the video, you probably have a clear idea about how this type of training
works. Well, analyzing this type of activity we can ensure that it is adapted
correctly to people who have little time to practice physical activity, we can
fit it at any time of the day, therefore, for people who do not work shifts.

many benefits in a short time. Due to the high intensity at which it is
practiced, energy expenditure rises, and therefore we burn many calories, which
is necessary to maintain or improve our physical condition. Be careful, that is
not all, the continuous practice of this methodology has its effects on our
metabolism, that is, we not only burn calories at the time of practice, but it
accelerates our metabolism, so calorie burning will lengthen during hours.
Burning calories is also related to fat burning and consequently weight loss.
This is mainly due to an increase in VO2max. But friends, you may wonder, what

Before
concluding, I want to emphasize that, following this perspective, we might
think that practicing this type of exercise is the “panacea”. Well, it may be
true, but we must take into account the context of each person. That is why I
